Hi, I'm Caitlin

I specialize in helping couples heal from betrayal, rebuild broken trust, prepare for marriage, and find their way back to each other, even when it feels impossible.

When a relationship is in crisis, it can feel like the ground has shifted beneath you. Maybe you're navigating the aftermath of infidelity. Maybe you've slowly drifted apart over the years. Maybe a hurt has quietly grown between you. Or maybe you're preparing for marriage and want to build something strong from the very beginning.

Whatever brought you here - you may be wondering if things can ever really be different. My work is helping couples answer that question and more often than not, the answer is yes.

While my primary focus is couples therapy, I also welcome individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, personal growth, and life transitions. Sometimes the most important work happens one person at a time.

I completed one of my clinical internships at Starting Point in Haddon Township early in my career — and returning there to open Restore Couples Therapy feels like a meaningful full circle moment. It's a community I believe in deeply. Learn more about Starting Point at startingpoint.org.

When I'm not in the therapy office, you can find me embracing the beautiful chaos of life as a wife and mom of four.

Why I Do This Work

I believe that when couples are struggling, everyone around them feels it. And when they heal, everyone around them benefits. Peaceful, connected relationships create peaceful homes — and that matters deeply to me.

That extends beyond couples. When individuals understand themselves better, communicate more clearly, and heal from past hurts — their relationships improve too. The ripple effect goes both ways.

What keeps me going is watching people find their way back to each other — or back to themselves. That's the work, and I don't take it lightly.

Training and Specialties

Over the course of my 14-year career I have worked across a variety of clinical settings — including inpatient psychiatric, community mental health, and outpatient group practice — serving individuals, couples, and families navigating a wide range of mental health and relationship concerns. This breadth of experience informs the depth and compassion I bring to every session at Restore Couples Therapy.

My Approach

Therapy with me is warm and structured. You'll feel supported — and gently challenged, because real change requires both.

When you come in as a couple, we won't just talk about what's going wrong. We'll slow down the patterns keeping you stuck, understand what's really driving them, and build the safety that makes honest conversation possible again.

What to expect:

  • Early sessions — understanding your history and identifying patterns

  • Middle sessions — shifting cycles, processing hurt, rebuilding trust

  • Later sessions — building tools to navigate challenges on your own

Approaches I draw from:

  • Gottman Method — research-based strategies for friendship, conflict, and connection

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — attachment-based work that helps partners feel safe with one another again

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — practical tools for shifting unhelpful patterns

  • Strengths-Based Approaches — building on what's already working

When working with individuals, I support a wide range of mental health concerns — including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges — with a focus on building healthier, more connected lives.

Reaching out is often the hardest part. If you're not sure where to start, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, talk about what's bringing you in, and make sure we're a good fit.

You don't have to have it all figured out to reach out. That's what the first conversation is for.
